In 2016, Rootaid entered the cross-border pharmaceutical sector, and by 2019 began independently supplying high-quality generic and specialty medicines to international markets. Today, Rootaid Digital Health Bangladesh is a legally licensed digital health and telemedicine company under the Root Group, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

For over 20 years, I've worked closely with patients—listening to their stories, their struggles, and their silent fears. One thing became painfully clear:
I've seen people delay treatment, not because they didn't care—but because they couldn't afford it, or simply couldn't find it in time. As a PhD pharmacist, I felt a responsibility beyond prescriptions.
I wanted to build a bridge—between quality medicine and the people who truly need it. That's why we started this journey.
